I heart mid-century modern furniture. The post war developments in modern design, architecture, and urban development are recognizable for their simple, democratic design, and natural shapes. Many of the pieces of furniture, which were typified by their clean, sweeping lines, were of very high quality. As a result, excellent examples of vintage Scandinavian Modern furniture are still available in usable condition. These are quality pieces you will have for a lifetime and worth the investment but sometimes out of our price range as young professionals. You may not be able to afford an Eames chair but here are a couple great places in San Francisco that have a great selection of quality pieces at affordable prices.
